About CFL Ministry

We recognize the nature of the ministry and the authority that governs that institution and agree to the conditions and rules that the institution has set in place. Our goal is to have minimum impact on the operation of the facility so as not to interfere with the correctional officers’ duties but still be allowed the opportunity and freedom to minister effectively in the facility. We are always open to ministering to the officers in prayer and conversation as well, should that be allowed.

CFL provides a uniform training system and vetting of those who desire to minister under the CFL organization. Our board is made up of men and women that have extensive experience in local and state facilities. The board members range from 5 to 25 years of ministry experience in city, county, state, and federal facilities. CFL board desires to utilize this experience for the greater purpose of training others to become effective ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
